On October 8–9, 2026, representatives of ANABIO R&D attended the 32nd National Gastroenterology Scientific Conference at Muong Thanh Hotel in Ha Long. The event provided an opportunity for the research team to learn about emerging approaches in gastroenterology, exchange experience in conducting clinical research, and strengthen connections with specialists, physicians, and scientists from Vietnam and abroad.

The conference sessions highlighted several important topics, including the role of the gut microbiota in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), the effects of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) on microbial balance, and the relationships among gut dysbiosis, mucosal barrier function, and immune responses in functional dyspepsia.

One notable presentation was delivered by Dr. Dang Thuy Ha, Deputy Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at Vietnam National Children’s Hospital, entitled “The Role of Probiotics in Modulating the Gut Microbiota and Immune Responses in Children with Persistent Diarrhea.” The presentation discussed findings from a study of a multi-strain probiotic formulation combining Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus clausii, and Bacillus coagulans, including observations relating to the gut microbiota, immune markers, and clinical outcomes within the scope of the reported study. These findings contribute to the scientific basis for the potential use of multi-strain probiotics as an adjunct in the management of persistent diarrhea in children.

In addition to attending the scientific sessions, ANABIO R&D representatives engaged with researchers in discussions on study protocol development, sample size determination, bias control, and ensuring the reliability of research data.

These exchanges offer practical value for developing study protocols, standardizing methodologies, and improving the quality of research projects that ANABIO R&D is currently conducting or planning.

Participation in the conference enabled ANABIO R&D to meet, listen to, and exchange ideas with experts in gastroenterology, microbiology, and clinical research. It also provided an opportunity to better understand practical challenges in healthcare settings and identify research directions for further discussion and development.

ANABIO R&D regards participation in scientific forums as an important part of continuous learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and connecting basic research with real-world needs.

Building on the knowledge and experience gained at the 32nd National Gastroenterology Scientific Conference, ANABIO R&D will continue to review specialist literature, refine its research methodologies, and maintain academic exchanges with scientists, hospitals, and research institutions.

Active participation in professional conferences reflects ANABIO R&D’s commitment to developing research capabilities grounded in science, prioritizing the quality of evidence, and fostering meaningful collaborations in microbiology and gastrointestinal health.
