A new-generation Probioticsraw material production factory of ANA BIO Research & Development Joint Stock Company has just been opened. The factory’s outputsare expected to fully meet the demand of the domestic market, and possibly to be exported partially.
ResearchÒ- The factory was established under the cooperation in technology transfer between ANA BIO & Development, a company specialized in consultation and trading of biomedical products, and Enzyme and Protein Technology Lab (University of Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
With the GMP-standard technology line, the factory yields several hundred tons of probiotics products per year, enough to fully meet the domestic demand and partly for exportation.
Probiotics products by ANABIO R&D include: HU58 (Bacillus subtilis isolated from human gastrointestinal tract); HU36 (Bacillus indicus, producing beta-carotenoids); Sporana (Bacillus clausii antibiotic resistance) and Lactosporana (Lactobacillus sporogenes or Bacillus coagulans producing lactic acid and coagulin against rotting bacteria).
Opening ceremony of ANABIO R&D’s new-generation Probiotics factory
ANABIO R&D Probiotics products present new features that are beneficial for human health such as improving the digestive system, preventing diarrhea, enhancing immunization, and preventing vitamin A deficiency, etc.Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen HoaAnh, General Director of ANABIO, presented the strategy for developing new-generation Probiotics products with outstanding advantages of tracable origin, high safety and heat resistance.
The preeminent feature of the new-generation Probiotics produced at the factory is that the products are formed as near 100% purified spores resistant to high temperatures, chemical and physical agents. Therefore, they can be made up in the form of mixtura in water, or added to cooked or grilled foods, without affecting the taste of the food (milk, instant noodles, biscuits, etc).
These unique bacterial strains have been extensively researched, legally owned by reputable universities in the United Kingdom and the United States, and are licensed for production and trade by ANABIO.
In the future, ANA BIO will further collaborate with the Enzyme and Protein Technology Lab in “applying modern gene and protein technologies to produce Probioticsproducts with new and superior features”, for production and commercialization.
